Campaigns are a powerful tool to advance equity and mobilize members to bring about positive change. The association has significant people power that can be organized to make a difference on campus and in the community to end discrimination and promote inclusion.

Equity campaign goals may include:

  • Getting administration to commit to hiring diverse permanent academic staff
  • Achieving equitable compensation
  • Reducing racist incidents on campus
  • Providing more childcare spaces

For those interested in learning more about bargaining, grievances and campaigns, CAUT offers workshops to association volunteers. Email education@caut.ca for more information,
