News / Sherbrooke faculty union joins CAUT

At CAUT’s 97th Council meeting, delegates voted unanimously to accept the membership application of the Syndicat des professeures et professeurs de l’Université de Sherbrooke (SPPUS).

In her message to Council delegates, SPPUS President Julie Myre-Bisaillon said the union is proud to join the francophone associations that are members of CAUT.

She invited all other francophone unions to become members of CAUT and strengthen francophone voices and perspectives.

SPPUS represents 460 faculty members of Université de Sherbrooke.
