CAUT staff appointments

Immanuel Lanzaderas
Legal Officer

Immanuel holds an undergraduate degree in French literature and political science, and a J.D. degree from Queen’s University. He worked most recently as duty counsel with Legal Aid Ontario. Immanuel articled and also worked as an associate with Cavalluzzo Shilton McIntyre Cornish LLP, a firm specializing in labour law, employment equity, and human rights law.

 

Pam Foster
Director, Research & Political Action

Pam is an experienced campaigner and manager. She’s worked with trade unions and progressive non-profits for more than 20 years in research, membership engagement, government relations, and advocacy and communications. Pam worked most recently at the Federation of Canadian Municipalities, helping to drive their issues to the top of the federal agenda. For this effort, she was awarded an organizational Key to Success. She also worked as director of communications and campaigns at the Canadian Federation of Nurses Unions and as coordinator of the Halifax Initiative, an advocacy coalition that includes the Canadian Labour Congress and the Steelworkers Humanity Fund. Pam holds a master’s degree in international relations from Carleton University and an undergraduate degree from the University of Alberta.
