In a strong demonstration of unity, members of the Brock University Faculty Association (BUFA) voted 97% in favour of a strike if a new contract with the administration cannot be reached. 

A BUFA statement said that “faculty and professional librarians are united and determined to secure” a fair deal. 

The BUFA bargaining team returned to the negotiating table in late June “with renewed confidence and determination to secure the negotiated settlement that members want and deserve.”
