With academic staff at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT) one week away from a potential strike, CAUT has sent a letter of support calling on the employer to negotiate fairly.

The faculty association at UOIT, representing 170 tenured and tenure-track faculty, is seeking democratic decision-making and comparable pay and benefit structures to other Ontario universities.
