Nipissing faculty reach tentative agreement

This morning, the Nipissing University Faculty Association (NUFA) announced that they reached a tentative agreement with the University administration, ending a three-week strike.

“We congratulate the full-time faculty members at Nipissing University for their tireless efforts and for reaching an agreement. This demonstrates the power of solidarity,” said Robin Vose, president of the Canadian Association of University Teachers (CAUT).

Details of the agreement are not yet public as it is still subject to ratification. Classes are scheduled to resume Monday, November 30.
