Strike action is a union’s ultimate expression of power in the collective bargaining process, and solid preparation is key to success.
In this workshop, you will:
- Review the recommended committee structures to prepare for job action;
- Strategize on how to engage members in the bargaining process so that they are strike ready; and
- Examine key procedures to help unions to strike effectively if necessary.
Participants will complete two hours of an online course, followed by a 3-hour webinar.
