News / A focus on collegial governance

By CAUT Staff

Several academic staff associations are focusing on governance issues and learning about ways to incorporate governance into their bargaining process. Here are two examples of events in January organized around governance issues:

  • The Dalhousie Faculty Association (DFA) held a public forum examining university governance
  • The University of Lethbridge Faculty Association held a Collegial Governance Roundtable Discussion to generate a robust conversation around collegial governance on university campuses in Canada and around the world

Visit CAUT’s campaign page on governance to learn how to increase awareness and develop strategies around governance issues at caut.ca/campaigns/shared-governance.
