CAUT On-line Fall Organizing School

CAUT is offering an on-line training program to help academic staff association leaders and activists sharpen organizing skills, and to network and brainstorm with fellow association leaders from across the country.

Dates

Based on the results from a membership survey, this course will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays,  from September 21 to October 2. Over these 2 weeks, participants will complete four sessions that focus on strengthening communications, bargaining, and campaigning skills. Each session features a mix of open discussion, presentations and exercises and will look at:

• Session One: Strengthen existing and develop new communication outputs, with a particular focus on digital tools;
• Session Two: Build a membership engagement strategy;
• Session Three: Develop strategies to strengthen association representation efforts; and,
• Session Four: Plan campaigns and association activities for the academic year.

Note: An on-line training of 90-minute sessions, 1:00 to 2:30 pm [EDT].
