COVID-19 Health & Safety Measures Onsite

CAUT is closely monitoring and following all recommended public health protocols in the planning and organization of all in-person meetings, conferences, and events. As the provincial chief medical officer of health is now recommending masking in indoor public settings, those attending the Council meeting in person will be required to wear face masks, unless actively eating or drinking. Masks, hand sanitizer, and a limited number of COVID-19 Rapid Tests will be available on-site, upon request.

If you have not been vaccinated against COVID-19, you are strongly encouraged to attend online.

In-person participants should complete a self-assessment each day. If you do not pass the self-assessment, if you feel unwell, or if you have any symptoms, even if mild, assume you may have COVID-19. Immediately isolate and do not attend any events in person.

If you are experiencing symptoms and would like medical attention, please refer to Ottawa Public Health’s information about how you can receive care.

If you develop COVID-19 within five days following the event, please contact the CAUT office at ED.Office-Bureau.DG@caut.ca immediately for the purpose of confidential exposure notification and contact tracing.
