CAUT is an outspoken defender of academic freedom. Therefore it has a duty to intervene further to the tabling of Private Member’s Bill 234, an Act to amend the Charter of the Université de Montréal.
CAUT would like to see the federal labour code amended to address the growing inequality among workers by making improvements to the Canada Labour Code.
