Thank you for putting a human face on the damage done to Palestinian education as a result of Israel's continuing military interventions in the occupied territories.

Elia Zureik's article is a poignant reminder of the difficult and dehumanizing conditions in which our Palestinian colleagues struggle to carry out their crucial work of intellectual research and education. I commend you for providing space for a perspective that is too often ignored.
