CAUT Forum for Presidents

This annual event is an important opportunity for the leadership of academic staff associations to meet peers from across Canada, share high-level discussion on key political and organizational challenges, and build networks of contact and support — all with the goal of strengthening our ability to advance the interests of our members. The meeting will be held in person and online.

Registration

Travel
CAUT will cover the cost of travel for one participant per association. Additional in-person participants can attend at their own cost, but only subject to space availability. CAUT’s policy is to use unionized air carriers unless there is no other option available. Members travelling within 300 kilometers of Ottawa are encouraged to use available rail, bus, public transportation, or carpooling options. Air travel should be booked early to take advantage of the lowest fares.
Airline reservations must be made directly with CAUT̓s travel agency, W.E. Travel (1-888-676-7747). W.E. Travel will require the booking code 23504 to make travel reservations and to bill CAUT directly.
Hotel Accommodation
Participants are required to make their own hotel reservations directly with the Ottawa Hilton Garden Inn Downtown. Reservations should be made no later than January 5.
Hotel reservations can be made online or by contacting the Ottawa Hilton Garden Inn (1-800-445-8667) and mentioning the "Forum for Presidents." Or group code CAUT23 to obtain the negotiated rate of $199.00/night (Traditional guest room).
