This course offers an opportunity for graduates of our Organizing School 101 with hands-on experience to build on this foundation. They do this by digging deeper into the tools for strengthening their association’s capacity to take collective action and win.
Course outline
Over three weeks, you will collaborate with peers from across Canada to:
- Refine your association’s organizing goals
- Align your strategies and tactics with these goals
- Chart your members based on their level of engagement
- Master the art of effective one-on-one conversations
- Design structure tests to guide your association in building its collective power
Details
Building on the foundations of Organizing 101, this three-week follow-up course will include an online learning module and a three-hour webinar each week.
Course learning
Completion of Organizing School 101 is a pre-requisite for this course
Participants will come away from the course with a greater sense of the tools and strategies they need to increase engagement among their members. This will help them to propel their organization forward.
Following this course, participants will have direct coaching and support from CAUT’s Organizing Officers.
