Librarians at McMaster University have formed an association and decided to unionize. The McMaster University Acad­emic Librarians Association filed an application for certification with the Ontario Labour Relations Board on Feb. 10. The board supervised a secret ballot election the following week where a majority of votes were cast in favour of unionization. MUALA represents a 30-member group.
