Last November, the federal government announced an investment of $300,000 annually over three years to support Acfas’ Service d’aide à la recherche en français.
Acfas is a non-profit organization that advances and promotes research, innovation and scientific culture in the French language. Its Service d’aide à la recherche en français program strengthens research capacity among minority Francophone communities by supporting professors, post-doctoral fellows and graduate students in partnership with post-secondary institutions.
CAUT has long called for federal leadership to sustain and advance francophone research.
