By the numbers / Inflation eroded the value of graduate Tri-Council grants over the last 20 years

• With no cost-of-living adjustments since inception, the value of many graduate Tri-Council grants has stagnated.
• A 54% surge in inflation over the last 20 years has decreased the value of Canada Graduate Scholarships (CGS).
