Tentative agreement reached!

The negotiations were lengthy, and at times difficult. We believe the agreement we have reached is good for the university as a whole. Although it does not contain all the things we have hoped for it does significantly entrench faculty rights and moves us to a much better position with respect to compensation. On balance this is a good settlement for all of the parties involved and permits the University of Guelph to solidify its place as a leading Canadian university.
