General Information
Faculty Association Members ratify proposed collective agreement. The Board of Governors still needs to ratify. We will inform you when this is done.
NOTE: Information sessions will be held on Tuesday, March 25th in UC 442 from 12:00 (noon) - 2:00 pm, and on Wednesday, March 26th in UC 442 from 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm for members to have their questions answered pertaining to the proposed collective agreement.
NOTE: The details of the tentative agreement have been mailed to all UGFA members. All ballots must be completed and returned to the UGFA office (room 535 UC) before March 28th.
Strike Vote Authorization Results:
71% of the members voted
84.5% voted in favour of strike authorization
Please note that a ‘yes’ vote does not mean a strike will occur. The Association will continue to negotiate in good faith towards a collective agreement.
