Tuition Waiver by Course
In order to satisfy future needs, to accommodate changing qualification requirements, or to provide for the acquisition of new and useful skills, tuition assistance will be available to all full or part-time tenured and probationary faculty and librarians and all retired full-time faculty and librarians in receipt of University pensions for a maximum of one full credit or non-credit course offered by the University of Guelph per semester (or a maximum of two in all during an R & D semester). In addition, currently employed faculty and professional librarians’ will be eligible for tuition rebates of 90% of the tuition fees of off-campus courses up to a maximum of $600 per calendar year.
Under this plan, the taking of credit or non-credit courses at the University or the taking of off-campus courses, must complement current faculty member’s or professional librarian’s present or possible future responsibilities to the University. Therefore, the taking of such courses will require approval of the Vice-President, Academic.
