Article 8: Amendments to the Agreement

8.1 This Agreement will be in effect immediately on the date of signing and will be renewed automatically on each September 1 thereafter for successive periods of one year until either party notifies the other in writing in the period of March 1 to March 31, inclusive, prior to any expiry date, that it desires to terminate this Agreement. However, changes or amendments to the Agreement may be made at any time by mutual consent of the parties.

Further, upon the closest September 1 following completion of each two-year period during the time this Agreement is in force, both parties agree to jointly review the Agreement, using the mechanism of the Joint Consultative Committee with the aim of arriving at any mutually agreeable changes or amendments deemed to be necessary.
