Article 29: Information for New Appointments

29.1 The University will give copies of this Agreement together with the Faculty Policies Handbook or the “Terms and Conditions of Employment for Professional Librarians”, as appropriate, and other relevant documents regarding terms and conditions of employment, rights, obligations and responsibilities, to all persons who are offered positions as probationary, tenured or contractually limited appointments and who would come under the terms of this Agreement.

29.2 The University agrees to provide the Association with the name, rank, and academic unit of each newly-appointed tenured, probationary, and contractually-limited faculty member and librarian by the effective date of their appointment to the University.
