LTSB - Benefits

The Faculty Association and University Administration remain committed to provide the best possible economic benefits program for Faculty and Librarians. In addition, during annual negotiations, opportunities will be sought to a) provide benefits which utilize existing University facilities and/or programs; and b) to provide creative ways to enhance the general well-being of Faculty within the University working environment.

Since the Professional Pension Plan is one of the most important components of the benefits package and the benefit most closely related to salaries, Faculty and Librarians should have direct input into decisions concerning policies and management of the pension plan. However, it is recognized that the Board of Governors is, ultimately responsible for the plan.
