Pension & Benefits Committee (P&B)
Jurisdiction
The Pension and Benefits Committee is an internal Faculty Association Committee which is responsible for monitoring these issues and providing suggestions to be included in (bi)annul salary and benefit negotiations. The Chair is a member of the negotiating team and sits on Executive and Council.
Responsibilities
The P&B Committee prepares the benefits portion of the negotiating brief. The chair reports the Committee’s findings and make recommendations to the Salary Committee and also reports to Executive and Council and to the general membership during the Annual General Meeting.

Membership
The seven regular members of the P&B Committee are appointed by Council from those nominated by the Chair. There shall be one member from each College and the Library. Membership is for one year term with possible reappointments. The Committee may, at its discretion, co-opt alternate or additional members from the membership of the Association.
