Health and Safety Conference

November 7- 9, 2008 — Sheraton Hotel Ottawa

CAUT is hosting its second Health and Safety Conference November 7 to 9, 2008, in Ottawa. This is a very important conference for members of your executive and for those who represent your association on the joint health and safety committee.

The focus will be on workplace cancers and other occupational diseases; workplace harassment; mental health issues, and related member vs member conflicts.

Please bring this information to the attention of your members on the Joint Health and Safety Committee members, those on your executive and others who have an interest in workplace health and safety. Also, please share details of the conference with other campus unions that may wish to participate. The conference will be conducted in English; there will be no simultaneous translation.
