From lobbying governments to raising public awareness, CAUT actively advances the social and economic interests of its members. We campaign for public funding and policies to ensure our institutions are accessible and of the highest quality. We defend the freedom of our members to teach and conduct research unrestricted by special interests.
CAUT is an outspoken defender of civil liberties and human rights, and advances equal rights for all. We fight for fair working conditions, job security, and compensation and benefits that foster quality teaching and innovative research.
