Lesbian, Gay, Bi-Sexual, Transgendered, Queer and 2-Spirited Working Group (LGBTQ2S)

Mandate

Members of CAUT Working Groups are appointed by the Executive Committee following a call for nominations through the Bulletin and through letters to member associations.

Working Groups report to the Executive Committee and share their plans and proposals with the Equity and Diversity Council. 

The LGBTQ2S Working Group will make recommendations on initiatives CAUT and its local associations should take to advance the diverse interests of lesbian, gay, bi-sexual, trans-gendered, queer and 2-spirited academic staff in universities and colleges in Canada. 

The Working Group will select 2 members to represent the working group at the CAUT Equity and Diversity Council.
