re: Enbridge Centre for Corporate Sustainability

Terms of Reference

  • Examine allegations of conflict of interest, violations of academic freedom, and external interference surrounding the establishment and operations of the Enbridge Centre for Corporate Sustainability at the University of Calgary;
  • Investigate the circumstances involving the departure of the first Director of the Enbridge Centre for Corporate Sustainability to determine if academic freedom was violated;
  • Consider other issues related to conflict of interest, governance, academic freedom, and the management of donations at the University of Calgary that may arise in the course of the investigation; and,
  • Make any appropriate recommendations.
