Disciplinary Matters

Whether a CDI denial, complaints, oral or written warnings contact CUASA immediately. Consult us before responding! Before things escalate between yourself and the employer or yourself and a colleague through discussions, email or memo, let CUASA advise you on the steps to be followed in dealing with the matter.

Grievances

There are deadlines for filing a grievance (Article 30) which need to be observed unless an extension is granted by the employer. The CUASA Grievance Chair and Executive Director will assist with the informal stages of the grievance and follow up with a formal grievance if necessary. CUASA retains legal counsel to assist it with grievances. See the Guide to Grievance Procedure.
