CLUB NEWS
Well the University Club is off to a great year of providing members
with entertainment, special events, and a relaxed place to gather and
socialize.
The first TGIF was held on the Friday of the
first week of classes and a smooth trio provided easy listening jazz. It
was very well attended as TGIFs have been ever since.
Our first Social Event of the year was a dinner that was catered by our
very own Erin Patterson (who happens to be our new Chair of the Social
Committee) and her husband Ross (who happens to be an incredible chef).
All who attended enjoyed a fine meal accompanied by fine entertainment.
The event was a smashing success to say the least. We intend to
host an event of this nature every month, so stay tuned for the details of
October’s offering.
We also have a new and improved website which can be accessed through
the Acadia main page under Campus Resources. The site is informative and
includes information on upcoming events as well as forms (membership
applications and bookings forms).
There will be more to report after the Executive plans its activities
for this year.
