important dates to keep in mind as quoted from The Eleventh Collective Agreement:

31
An Instructor on a probationary appointment shall be reviewed by his/her Department by 31 October of the final year of the appointment [Art. 43.41(a)]
Decisions
[research monies for October 1 applications] will be announced by 31 October. .

¨ November
1
The
DRC shall . . . make recommendations to the URC [for renewal applications]. . .
no later than 1 November. . . [Art. 12.21(a)]
¨ November 15
The
DRC shall. . . make recommendations to the URC [for tenure/combined tenure and
promotion to Associate Professor]. . .

The

The
Library Review Committee shall. . . make recommendations to the URC [continuing

Employee. . . must confirm in
writing

agreement by 30 November in the year preceding the 1 July on which retirement

agreed upon by the Head, Dean or University Librarian and Vice-President

Head/Director/Dean shall review the [course] evaluations and return a copy of the Summary Data Sheet and the unit's Summary
Data Sheet to the
Employee within three weeks following submission of grades for the course. [Art.

President shall communicate the Board's decision on renewal of appointment. . .
