(First Ever Women) was a networking event that focused on the successes of  the “few” women in our upper ranks at Acadia. It featured talks by Shelley MacDougall (first ever associate professor in School of Business), Heather Hemming (first ever full professor in the School of Education) and Janice Best (one of the few full professors in the Arts faculty –maybe even the only one at present). Jessica Slights MC’d the event and Patricia Townsend gave some historical background of Women at Acadia.
